Untitled Supper Club Hosts A “Derby Jubilee” for a Kentucky Derby Viewing Party

April 9, 2014

When the gun fires to start the first race in the Triple Crown, the next best place to Churchill Downs is Untitled Supper Club. On May 3, Untitled will open its unmarked doors at 2 p.m. exclusively for the best Kentucky Derby viewing party in Chicago with its “Derby Jubilee.”

Hosted in conjunction with Lily Duvel of Adopted STYLE, Cheeky Chicago, J. Toor Clothing, and The Almanac Mag, ladies will be encouraged to don their most adorned floppy hats and men their straw fedoras for an afternoon of fun. Guests can enter The Lounge to cheer on their favorite thoroughbred on Untitled’s massive screen. Woodford Reserve, the official bourbon of the Kentucky Derby, will be sponsoring the event so guests can enjoy refreshing mint julep cocktails ($10) plus complimentary appetizers including pork belly lollipops, grit cakes and fried chicken bites.

Before the race begins, attendees can pick a winning horse and receive a ticket for a chance to be entered into a raffle with fantastic prizes from the sponsors. Kentucky bluegrass band, Moonshine & Honeysuckle, will entertain the crowd performing an energetic acoustic show.

A portion of the proceeds from the afternoon will benefit Canter, the nationwide program and successful transition of thoroughbreds off racetracks through its “Rescuing Racers Initiative.” For more information, visit: http://www.canterusa.org/.

The Derby Jubilee is on Saturday, May 3 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission for the viewing party is complimentary. RSVPs can be made through https://untitledderby.eventbrite.com.
